I’ve been obsessed with reading since I was wee, according to my mum. If I didn’t have a book in hand, I would be digesting every word on the back of the Cornflakes box. Then came my undying love for newspapers and magazines, and now… well, it’s any type of content I can feast my eyes on.
Originally from a farm in bonny Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland, I studied English at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow before completing a Postgraduate Diploma programme at the London School of Journalism.
I returned home to cut my teeth at Scottish media company DC Thomson, working as a TV editor for The Sunday Post. After two years, I packed a rucksack and headed for Australia, sharing my adventures in a monthly travel column.
And after 7 years of traveling the world, I’m now based in the UK. I'm the senior content writer for global digital agency AnalogFolk and a freelance content creator.
I’m always on the look-out for exciting new projects. Interested in working together? I'd love to hear from you. Please email hello@clairehenderson.co.uk and I'll be in touch.
